New Reach

New Reach is an organization that helps build hopeful futures for families and individuals who are facing homelessness and poverty. New Reach starts with the very basics; offering shelter, support and services for women, children and families who are homeless or at risk. They provide stability, so individuals can become self-reliant and guide and assistance to help individuals end the cycle of poverty and homelessness to realize their full potential. Rosie's Place

Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to help poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. Today, Rosie’s Place not only provides meals and shelter but also creates opportunities for 12,000 women a year through wide-ranging support, housing and education services. Rosie’s Place relies on the generous support of individuals, foundations and corporations and does not accept any city, state or federal funding. Win (Women in Need)

Win (Women in Need) is the largest provider of shelter for homeless women and children in New York City. Every day more than 4,500 people, including 2,700 children, wake up in a Win shelter. Since 1983, we have been transforming the lives of families by providing safe, clean, private housing and the services and programs they need to rebuild their lives and move from shelter to a permanent home.
